Auto Glass Claims
Beware of the “Free Windshield Repair” stands, you’ll find in many parking lots
in the community. The quality of the repair is questionable and many times are
not on the acceptable repair shop lists approved by the insurance companies.
Don’t be fooled-- when they say, “free windshield repair”, they are actually
submitting a claim under your current insurance. And if you do not have
comprehensive coverage on your policy, they will send you a bill directly for
the repair, which could be considerably higher than if taken to an approved
windshield repair shop.
Option #1- Call your claims department for the nearest
approved windshield replacement shop or to verify the shop you desire to go to.
Have your policy number & the amount of your
comprehensive deductible, if possible
Option #2 - Call the following shops and inform them you are
